Puffles

Puffles are furry creatures native to Club Penguin, and their loyalty makes them great pets. There are ten unique puffles, each with their own personality. Have fun with those fluffy rascals!

There are ten puffle colors. There are black, blue, green, pink, purple, red, yellow, white, orange, and brown.

Adoption:

To adopt a puffle, go inside the pet shop and open the Adopt a Puffle catalog (the clipboard). Next, click on the puffle you want to adopt. Members can adopt twenty puffles, but non-members can only adopt two. Then type in the name you want your puffle to be, and it will be in your Igloo!

Puffle Care:

To care for your puffle, click on it. From there, you can feed bathe, and play with your puffle.

To make your puffle completely happy:

1. Give your puffle a nap.

2. Feed your puffle.

3. Give your puffle a bath.

Your puffle should be as good as ever!

Puffles In Games and Run-Away Puffles:

If your puffle is really hungry, you will get mail from your puffle telling you that it is hungry. If your puffle runs away, you will also get mail. Your puffle could run away because you don’t feed it, or it isn’t happy. Or, if you really want to, you can return the puffle to its natural habitat, under “Pet Papers.”

Some puffles can go into games with you! For example,  if you walk your pink puffle then play Aqua Grabber, your pink puffle will be in the game, and might give you air bubbles! You can take your green puffle into Jet Pack Adventure, and it will collect coins for you! You can also take your red puffle in Catchin’ Waves. Puffles count as hand items, so you can’t play with your puffle and a surfboard. Also, try bringing your purple puffle into the Dance Contest game or mixing beats in DJ3K with a yellow puffle! You can also take your black puffle into Cart Surfer.

Puffle Furniture:

If you are a member and have puffles, then waddle on over to the Pet Shop! Open up the puffle furniture catalog (the yellow catalog). If you buy puffle furniture and put it out in your igloo, your puffle will interact with it! As an example, lets say you buy a Puffle Igloo and a Water Bottle. Then go home and take the furniture out. If you feed your puffle, it will drink from the water bottle, and if your puffle wants a nap, it will sleep in the igloo! (Other furniture items are also unique, and may vary. Puffles will not only sleep in their color furniture- they can sleep in any color.)

A History of Puffles:

Did you ever wonder what the puffle looked like in the earlier stages of CP? Here are some sketches that CP  was going to use as puffles. Eventually they settled on the puffle we know today. Also, did you know that penguins voted for the name “puffle?”
